MICHAEL CLEMONS

Introduction
At only 5 foot 6 inches, and one hundred seventy pounds, Michael "Pinball" Clemons has illustrated what it means to beat the odds. Renowned as one of pro football's most electrifying players, he retired as the CFL's all time, all purpose yardage leader, and the holder of a dozen Argo records.
As the former Coach of the Toronto Argonauts, Mike put his leadership, communication, and team building skills to good use, helping to turn around the storied franchise. The Toronto Argonauts won the 2004 Grey Cup, with a 27-19 victory over the B.C. Lions. Clemons, who won three Grey Cups as a player for Toronto, picked up his first as a head coach.
Known for his exceptional character, in addition to his outstanding athletic ability, Mike's tireless community involvement and participation in countless charitable causes exemplify the qualities he possesses.

JAY INGRAM
Co-host of Discovery Channel's Daily Planet

Introduction
One of Canada's best-known science popularisers, Jay Ingram is co-host of Daily Planet, television's first daily science show. His Jay's Journal is a well-known regular feature of that program.
Jay hosted CBC Radio's science program Quirks And Quarks from 1979 to 1992, earning him two ACTRA Awards, including one for Best Host. During the '80s, Jay was also Contributing Editor to Owl Magazine. He also hosted two radio documentary series, The Talk Show, about language, and Cranial Pursuits, about the brain. The Talk Show won a Science in Society Journalism Award. For twelve years he also wrote a science column for the Toronto Star.
Jay has been awarded the 1984 Royal Society of Canada McNeil Medal for the Public Awareness of Science, the 1986 Sandford Fleming Medal from the Royal Canadian Institute for his work popularizing science, and the 2001 Michael Smith Award for Science Promotion by the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada. He holds four honorary doctorate degrees: from Carleton University, McGill University, McMaster and King's College in Halifax.
Jay has written ten books, three of which have won Canadian Science Writers' Awards. |

Chris Moore is the Chief Information Officer at the City of Edmonton.Mr. Moore provides leadership over the City's information and technology services, solutions and strategy. Mr. Moore has spent over 26 years in the Information Technology industry focusing on Customer Relationship Management, Business Strategy, Consulting and Professional Se rvices. Mr. Moore has extensive experience in both the Private and Public sector working with small, medium and large organizations. Mr. Moore has managed teams and projects of considerable complexity and scope.
Mr. Moore is a member of the Conference Board of Canada's Council of Chief Information Officers and is also a member of SAP's Global Public Sector Advisory Council. Mr. Moore enjoys giving back to his community in various ways and is currently vice chair operations for the 2010 Canadian Country Music awards in Edmonton. |
Dave Wallace

Dave Wallace became the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the City of Toronto as of May 14, 2007. As Toronto's CIO, he has the responsibility for overseeing the City's Information and Technology (I&T) services, working closely with the City's Divisions in support of their services to the public.
Prior to joining the City, Mr. Wallace was the Vice-President of the National Public Sector Program at Chartwell Inc., where as a member of the senior management team, he provided advisory services, leadership and support to all three levels of government.
Mr. Wallace also held many key roles in his over 20 years of service with the Ontario Government. He served for three years as the first Corporate Chief Technology Officer (CTO) within the OPS. Prior to the CTO role, Mr. Wallace served as Head Architect in the Office of the Corporate Chief Strategist, where he provided leadership in the development and implementation of the Enterprise Architecture and standards for the Ontario Government.
Mr. Wallace has a MBA from the U of T and a Bachelor of Business Management from Ryerson. |
Shari Wallace

Shari Wallace - Director, IT Strategy, Planning, Business Relationships & Projects
Shari has worked for the City of Vancouver for 10 years in a variety of roles, including Applications Development and Support, Service Management and Director of the Corporate IT group. Her current role in the newly created IT shared services organization is Director, IT Strategy, Business Relationships & Projects. This new division is responsible for IT initiatives from the ideas stage right through to implementation and into benefits realization; as well as for managing results and expectations with the business; strategic planning and IT standards and policies.
Prior to joining the City, Shari spent 15 years in the private sector in a number of IT positions across a wide-range of industries including telecommunications, banking, oil an gas and industrial catering.
